ADRIENNE'S MESSAGE

Last year, I was proud to be elected to my 4th term serving on the Otsego County Board of Representatives. Now I'm running to represent you in the 122nd Assembly District.

On the County Board, I’m the Chair of the Human Services Committee where we deal with critical issues like access to mental health services, and housing. I deliver for the people of the county by making services accessible and government transparent. I want to bring that same effectiveness to our state government

I first ran for the board to serve my community. I even wrote a book about it called Somebody’s Gotta Do It. It’s about running, what we do in local government, and why it matters.  I know how important it is that we elect folks who are experienced, practical, and know how to get things done. No matter our background or political affiliation, we all want our representatives to work for us - not for themselves.

But for too long, our communities have been waiting for a representative who will be effective on our behalf. We deserve a state representative who understands the needs of rural New Yorkers and is willing to work in partnership with our county and state governments - regardless of which party is in power - to deliver for us.

My legislative priorities include ensuring that everyone in New York has access to comprehensive, affordable health and mental health so we can get the care we need close to home; improving access to affordable broadband so our kids can get a good education and we can work and run businesses here in Upstate New York; and making sure that our villages, towns and cities can provide opportunities so people can afford and want to live, work, and raise their families here.

Join our campaign and together, we can elect a Representative who works for us!
